Torgesen Murdock painted this delightful painting outside for a few hours each day from 10 to 1. The painting speaks of summer with the roses in a mass and a satin tablecloth creating the soft sheen of water on which the different items sit. The shadow on the chair pushes the brilliant glow of the flowers to the forefront and lets the viewer find cool rest for their eyes behind. If anything could be better on a summer day than sitting in the cool breeze and painting the glories of color in thick juicy paint, the artist would ask you what that could possibly be?
